No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!
Or brain cancer! This is our personal journey as a family when our 21 year old son was diagnosed with a brain mass and the roller coaster ride that followed. His life was turned upside down and his parent's worst nightmare that started on December 23, 2010.

Happy New Year
We're home. Orion slept from when we left the hospital to 9 this morning. We've had breakfast and hope to experience a little bit of normal life. All of your support and caring comments have been wonderful.
How wonderful that you are back home and can enjoy some family days together before all of the treatments start. Thank you for posting the news of what you learn and the tidbits about what you and Orion are doing and feeling. This blog really helps everyone who loves you and cares about you to stay informed. It sounds like you are in THE best place for the care that Orion needs. MGH really has worked fast for you, and it sounds like you have been pleased with the care, communication, and expertise you have encountered. Wonderful!
We're back to Boston now, and will be Ashfield again on Friday. If there's anything you need from MGH, your cousin or whatever, let us know.

Dotto to Mary Lou's comment. It must feel good to be home as you gird your loins for the coming battle. Gambate! (as the Japanese say)
