We have moved out of intensive care

We just moved to our new digs after another cat scan. Now Orion has a roomy, a middle aged brain cancer patient on his last chemo round. Upbeat friendly guy.

New nurse seems great. Orion is free of all leads and tubes and his free to get up and walk anytime. We have retired to a lounge with view of the statehouse dome. There is family here with three young kids. Easy to imagine us eighteen years ago.

He is scheduled for a full spine MRI So they must be looking for skip lesions, an unpleasant thought.

He is cheery and his mental acuity seems back to super genius.

  1. Glad that O is back to super genius levels, and am looking forward to demonstrations of the awesome Professor X powers he must surely have now.

Have either of you asked him to try levitating an object with just his thoughts?

  2. This is great news. O must be thrilled ( well maybe that's a bit strong) to be able to walk around unattached! O sunny day!

  3. I'm sure it is great to have him out of NICU. I'm also glad he has a chance to walk without his "attachments". I'll be hoping for a discharge soon.

Proof positive that "You can't keep a good mind down"
If Orion is capable of purchasing a Card, a Candle, a Pack o' gum, a Magazine (any magazine) at a Hospital Gift Shoppe for under $10.00 then he most certainly has
returned to his former Genius levels. Not only can he walk without his "tree" of attachments, he can do so On Water. This is all wonderful news, we are so very happy
